Exciting product update
All the Traceworkers are delighted. We gave our best effort, so we could launch this product update just before the vacation period, and we succeeded.
We hope that all of you can obtain business benefits by increasing your productivity even further due to this update. We guarantee that we will do our best to keep on, developing Headlight into the best marketing tool for agencies and advertisers.

Facelift
Headlight has been on a beauty trip to city of angels for a well deserved facelift. The following elements have been under the knife.

Headlight login
No new functionality only design, we chosen a black theme, scary!!!!

Calendar
The new calendar supports our new design guide and actually save you for more clicks (time) than you actually believe.

Top Menu
New top menu to support topic splitting with logical breakdowns for each source I.E. Google, Yahoo, Banner, PPC

Activity / Asset Filter
You have complained about the fact that we show all data in all grids including inactive data. We have implemented filter functionality in our activity and asset grids, supporting filtered views of active, inactive and all activities/assets.
Furthermore is it possible to view summarized data per label in all grids. The benefit is that you save a lot of time creating campaign reports.

Comments
We heard you prayers and made a conclusion. Functionality where you can add comments for collaboration purposes make sense. It’s now possible to add comments on activities, assets and natural sources.

We have fixed a lot of small defects and added some minor features. One small thing worth mentioning is that our purple flags (changes) now are presented in the main Whychart on the dashboard.

New product information – We have released valuable functionality for Headlight

What a fantastic day, it’s raining here in Copenhagen but still the mood is high here in the offices of Traceworks why? Well we made an important update to Headlight yesterday which will bring a lot of value to current and future clients and it’s simple for us when you are happy, we are happy.

Yahoo Integration:

You know how our Google integration works, as first step in our process of moving deeper into the possibilities within search marketing have we made integration to Yahoo, similar to the one we have with Google.
If you want more information regarding how you can save time and money by automated tracking of your Yahoo campaigns, please talk to your account manager.

Conversion summary:

I don’t know if you are exited yet but I guarantee you will be, since this update can save you for awful lot of time when you do reporting.
Let’s make an example, you have 3 conversions which is your KPI´s, it could be

1. Online sale – Primary product
2. People signing up for a newsletter
3. Registration for a seminar

You want to look at data for a specific campaign of three activities, two banners and one Google Add.
The problem were that you could see how many conversions each activity contributed with but you could not see specific numbers from each conversion unless you made time consuming drills and manual calculations.
Now is it possible to get specific numbers from every single conversion without the need for time consuming drills and calculation and the activity level. You just need to add specific conversion columns in each view from where you, want see how conversion one performed against conversion two etc.

Statlynx - end of an era

When TraceWorks was established in 2002, two young marketers weren’t satisfied with the supply of marketing tools at that time. There was a lack in the market - therefore they gave birth to Statlynx. Statlynx has served us and the online marketing environment very well, but since its big sister Headlight was launched in 2006, Statlynx haven’t been quite up to speed.

TraceWorks is constantly met with new demands from both existing and potential clients – to cope with this very fast and changing world, TraceWorks will focus only on Headlight which is build on an flexible and easy scalable platform. We have for the last couple of years continuously moved our existing clients to Headlight and for rest of you I am very sad to say that it is time to say goodbye.

We know that Statlynx through the years have given you much value and often crucial information for you to make the right online marketing decisions. Headlight is now ready to take over.

TraceWorks is shutting Statlynx down for the last time today, 31th of March – After that date Statlynx will no longer be in TraceWorks portfolio.

Statlynx, rest in peace…

TraceWorks - come and see our new office

TraceWorks have left the building… but we have moved into our new and shiny offices.

We are very proud of our new surroundings and would like to show off… and show you our new place. So get your things together, mark Friday the 20th of February 2009 in your calendar and setup for a great afternoon and evening.

We open our doors at 3 o’clock pm. and will serve you a bit to eat and a lot to drink. So come on over and say cheers to all the TraceWorkers.

Headlight Update

We have made a small but very useful update to Headlight.
We have added new data to our Google Integration. Now Average Position from Google will be available in the interface, you can find Average position in the following PPC drill downs for Google data.

1. Activity Name
2. AdGroup
3. Keyword Bought

Average Position data is available from 1´st of December 2008 and onwards.
The Average Position column is by default available for each of the three views. You need to add the column once if you have a custom view.
