The Dojo is the official blog of the marketing software company TraceWorks.

It’s been a while since the last post about new features. This does not mean that all TraceWorkers packed their speedos and went swimming. We’ve been doing a lot of new stuff that I’ll be posting about over the next couple of weeks.

One of the fanciest things we’ve come up with is a synchronization tool for your Google campaign activities. It allows you to work with your Google campaigns the way you prefer: You can use Headlight, the AdWords web interface or the AdWords Editor.

No matter what you choose, we’ll keep everything in sync. Simply tell us how often you want us to synchronize and we’ll set it up for you - easy, seamless and painless…

    This solves part of my problem! Thanks.

    @KP

    What is the rest you problem? Let’s get it out there … and we’ll fix it / build it - make it happen!

    Thanks.

    I would like Traceworks and Google Analytics to work side by side. Google’s response is that if Traceworks could keep the Google click ID in the URL string(gclid), the problem would be solved.

    I would like to use Google Analytics and Traceworks interchangably. That way I can take advantage of the strengths in both apps.

    - The complete marketing overview from Traceworks
    - The advantage of Adwords and Analytics working together.

    Thanks in advance. Go make it happen!

    Of course we don’t want to ruin Adwords working with Analytics. We need to look into this.

    And the idea of a clear “collaboration / interface” between Headlight and Analytics is surely something we’re looking into … you know Headlight handling Marketing tasks and Analytics (or Omniture, Webtrends, Visual Sciences) handling more traditional web behavior analysis - easily and quickly complimenting each other.

    We’ll go make it happen … and get back to you when we have some news.

    Thanks for your input.

    Thanks for the help. I think the issue is solved. The direct tracking feature in Headlight should do the trick.
