The Dojo is the official blog of the marketing software company TraceWorks.

If you have been using Headlight for a while, you may already have familiarized yourself with the concept of the WhyChart.
This most illustrious chart shows you the progress of your activities in relation to any changes you might have made to your campaigns.
It was conceptualized to answer the basic question: What effects does my carefully, orchestrated marketeering have on the way activities perform.
Until now a campaign’s conversions have all been summed up in a ‘total conversion’ recap, with no way of seeing the individual campaign’s conversion performance.
Now, however we’ve made it possible for you to view the conversion course of each individual campaign that you run :

Conversions added to the graph

Just click ‘Conversions’ in the Marketing Performance tab, and…. a nice little graph will greet you - along with your usual drill-down view.
Without user interaction the graph will only show the total sum-course of your campaigns.
But check off one of your conversions in its checkbox (as if to drill down), and campaign will be added to the graph.
Astounding, I think you must agree.

Limit of 6

For the sake of readability we have limited the amount of conversions displayed at any one time to 6.
Any number above that has shown to be plain undicipherable.
Trust us on this.

This weekend we completed a successful server upgrade. In Michaels own words: “the best and most clean no-problem upgrade ever!”

HOW DOES THIS AFFECT YOUR USER EXPERIENCE?
The upgrade means:

  • better loading times across the reporting interface
  • new feature uploaded - read more here
  • a number of minor bugs fixed throughout the reporting interface
  • longer intervals between future planned hardware maintenance

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact support@traceworks.com or call your personal contact at TraceWorks.

Headlight HQ will be undergoing a general maintenance and upgrade procedure during this weekend June 23rd and 24th. We have 2 time slots where Headlight reporting will be offline, 1 for preparing the upgrade and 2 for the actual upgrade.

Headlight reporting interface is offline during off-peak hours:
1. Between Thursday, 21.06 18:00 GMT+1 to Friday, 22.06 02:00 GMT+1
2. Between Friday, 22.06. 18:00 GMT+1 to Sunday, 24.06. 18:00 GMT+1

HOW DOES THIS AFFECT YOUR USER EXPERIENCE?
As a user you will not be able to log on to the reporting views.

Maintenance work will not affect your campaigns, or data collection/tracking.

SOLUTION TIMEFRAME
We expect reporting interface to be online on Monday, 25.06. 08:00 GMT+1

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact support@traceworks.com or call your personal contact at TraceWorks.

Once again we succeed
