Look, we are pretty

When you work with charts and graphs, something like this immediately grab your attention. It’s not a particularly useful discovery, but sort of fun when you are a CSS geek. It’s a java applet that analyze the content and links of your site and show a series of connected dots colour coded for which HTML tags it encounters. blue: for links, red: for tables, green: for the DIV tag, violet: for images, etc.
This is how the Dojo looks. Pretty ain’t it? You can try it here

This is why web analytics (WA) and behavior analysis is a very different ball game than that of marketing management software.
WA’s main purpose is analyzing how people move around within this “pretty” landscape. By the way this is almost impossible to do - you need experts - not software - to help you do this. It’s much too complex for just stupid software to handle. That’s my opinion.
Headlight and marketing management software is about supporting the fundamental processes in any marketing division e.g. creative asset management, media planning, campaign deployment, and of course measuring the cost/benefit - but NOT in terms of analyzing how people navigate the “pretty” website.
Hmmm … Guess I totally misunderstood this. Thought is was like a sitemap tool or something. Bollocks. I will never ever repond to a post in a blog again.
