A fantastic idea!. Sony has combined a mouse and a VOIP phone. For those of us who use a mouse, I can think of no better place to put it. Some of us here in the office use headsets, which can be a bit annoying when a call comes in and you have to fumble around on your desk for the headset. With this solution you just lift your mouse and talk into it.

But then again, we usually talk with people while messing about on the computer (you know, for support etc.). In that case a phone-mouse would be quite impractical. “Hang on a sec while I click on this”.
